Doorstop
I decided to make a doorstop to match my blue/pink cushion, these are going to be used in my office in my new house.

I love these little doorstops I have a grip seal bag inside mine the first one I made I used sand but this one is filled with rice and took a 1kg bag.
Ive figured out how to make them now without any zips or hand sewing, but with a concealed opening so that you can fill the bag inside with rice, lentils etc and this way you can get into it easily to change the rice etc should it start to perish.
Cushion
Well Ive wanted to make one of these for ages and I saw one in a magazine this week, then saw Debbie Shore on TV showing one she had made with the ‘Brother’ sewing machine Pick of the day on Ideal world TV.
The machine she was showing was my sewing machine that I bought in June this year. I had also picked up a lovely pale blue remnant whilst out last week so decided I would finally make my cushion, so with the aid of some pink gingham and plain white fabric, here it is.

I love it.
Doorstop & Cushions
I made these simple envelope style cushions recently to tone down my conservatory furniture which have a kind of nondescript pattern in gold/rust/taupe colours.
This fabric matched perfectly with the gold tone so I made 4, then LouP on UKscrappers asked for help with a simple sewn gift idea she wanted to make and I remembered that I had seen a door stop idea in a mag and on the net.
So I decided I would make one with the left over fabric from my cushions. I added a bit of applique detail using scraps of fabric and felt.
I designed a simple house shape and cut the pattern from card using my Pazzles Inspiration, which I then drew around onto the fabric and cut.
I used an applique stich which is on my sewing machine.
I have filled the inside with sand which is inside a ziplock bag and added just a bit of toy stuffing on top before I stitched it closed.
I love how it has turned out and think I will be making more of these.

PE Bag
Well here it is my first PE Bag for my daughter she chose the fabric, the two little buttons were my daughters idea they are just for decoration.
I used some plain black as a border around the top just to break it up a bit.
The flowers are felt which I cut using a Sizzix Bigz die and my cuttlebug.
Cute dont you think?

Pincushion
I thought I had posted about this before but here is my pincushion made from fabric and batting which I cut using a Sizzix Bigz die and my cuttlebug.

Cupcake Desk Tidy Storage Cube
I have made this tonight and for a first attempt I think it turned out OK.
Ive put makeup in it but will probably use it for sewing or craft items.
I made the pouches on the front different sizes and when its not in use it folds up flat.
Ok so now I am obsessed!
Yes another Ipod cosy, this was made from some left over material I was cutting for my next project.

Cute dont you think? I love it. You can find it in my Folksy shop if you would like to buy one. The link is in the sidebar.
Another Ipod Case/Cosy
I love these I have just made another one I think I will make a few and put them on ebay and see if they sell.

What do you think?
Ipod Case
Well I have itchy feet and need to craft so I have made this little pouch lined with felt for my Ipod.
I made it from some scrap fabric I had left over from the little tote bag I made for my daughter, and some felt for the inside.
The Ipod fits inside completly and the earphones have their own little pocket, I love it.

Fabric Wreath
I was looking for a sewing project to do today and came across all these felt and fabric flowers I cut ages ago using my cuttlebug.
So I decided I would make another wreath, I cut circles from felt and made them into spiral flowers to add a bit of depth and interest.
I used lots of buttons and stickles as highlights.

Hope you like it.
